ThinkMarkets is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our Chicago team. The Human Resources Business Partner will have a critical role in our company culture by recruiting, hiring, retaining, and developing the best and brightest talent. The right candidate will be a strong communicator and problem solver, highly organized, with an enthusiastic passion for their role in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain strong and diverse talent
  • Assist our Corporate Recruiter as needed with full recruitment lifecycle on a global scale and focusing on the onboarding process and setting up new hires for success
  • Understand our business holistically, be proactive in support of managers and employees as related to HR matters, and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Create and deliver HR related content in the form of resources, help tools, training, etc. to support the evolving needs of the business
  • Manage open enrollment, understand and support benefits administration, and be the point person on our team to help our employees
  • Prepare and maintain compliant personnel files for audit reviews and record keeping
  • Manage distribution of semi-monthly payroll and annual W-2’s
  • Coordinate agency events such as lunches, employee appreciation, new employee orientation, health and wellness program, and training

 

Requirements:

 

  • BA/BS degree with 4-8 years of experience working in Human Resources and Recruitment
  • Financial Services, Capital Markets, and/or Trading experience is a must
  • Experience in administering payroll, benefit plans, and HR operations focusing on employee experience
  • Proven experience with HRIS management tools and ATS software (Greenhouse, BambooHR, etc.)
  • Expertise in recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, BuiltIn Chicago, ZipRecruiter, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, attention to detail, and overall positive attitude
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and observe the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Experience in tech recruiting at a financial services/trading company a huge plus
